We are thrilled to introduce STARRY LAKE our very special Dark Sky Oasis– 200 acres of forest, rivers and streams with a secluded private lake in one of the darkest sky zones in the province of Ontario, Canada. We are located on a quiet county road that has earned itself a place as a “scenic route of Ontario”. The property is 15 minutes from the hamlet of Coe Hill, a half hour south of the town of Bancroft, in prime Canadian ‘cottage country’.  Visitors have described our property as a “Private Provincial Park”  I tend to call it a marvel.

The 3 bedroom Big Cottage is an easy stroll  down a private forest road or through hiking trails to the lake and two fabulous off-grid glamping cabins. The Big Cottage has all the comforts of modern amenities- showers, electricity, a full kitchen and yes, Wi-Fi, if it’s needed.

‘The Hummingbird’ and ‘Sun Ray’, the two off-grid cabins have screened in porches to enjoy summer breezes and cozy wood stoves for winter. There is everything one needs for comfort, with cooking is on the gas BBQ or propane stove, with drinking water  from our crystal clean wells. There’s a fresh, cute outhouse, a fire-fueled cast iron ‘hot tub’ for adventurers, and the lake offers fantastic swimming.  Glamping at it’s best- with privacy, serenity and incredible night sky that may be the one thing to keep you from sweet slumber.
